In 2016, four Byron Locals took a chance and launched a tech company out of their garage. Fast-forward four years and the start-up is now recognised as one of the most innovative in the country.

Named 2020’s Most Innovative Technology Company at the annual Australian Financial Review / BOSS ‘Most Innovative Companies’ awards, Split Payments is now also a finalist in the 2021 FinTech Australia ’Finnies’ awards.
FinTech Australia is the peak advocacy body for Australia’s financial technology sector—one of the fastest growing technology sectors in the world.
Split Payments is, in fact, up for two gongs at this year’s Finnies: Excellence in Payments; and Best Partnership of the Year for its solution collaboration with share trading platform, Superhero—another Australian success story.
